About This Item

The 1876 United States 20 cent coin features a seated liberty symbolizing freedom, with her right hand resting on a shield. The reverse displays a bald eagle with spread wings, clutching arrows and an olive branch. Due to low mintage and historical significance this 1876 20 cent coin is sought after by collectors. It was minted during the United States’ centennial  year, marking 100 years since the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
